Kranjec Valley Angus Farm was purchased in 1979 by Ladislav and Zora Kranjec, along with their son, Ivan. It is located in the Southeast tip of Madison County Missouri, along the Castor River. The farm consists of approximately of 1100 acres of rolling hills, valleys, springs and creeks. These features provide fresh running water along with plentiful grazing land for the cattle. In 1986, Ivan married his bride, Donna Sample. 8 years later their son, Kristofor joined the happy family.
In 1996, we began raising registered angus cattle and quickly grew to today's prestigious seedstock and beef operation. After many droughts, floods and years of hardships, we worked diligently to improve and amend the soil quality. Because of years of hard work, our cattle now enjoy premium forages through a rotational grazing program. In addition to grazing, orchard grass, fescue and sorghum hay are grown on our farm to maintain a healthy herd through the harsh Missouri winters.
